I love reading your 100 things. Boyd has sent me a copy of his 100 things. I am working on writing mine as well. Rick says he is amazed that with all of the stuff we all have to do we still don’t have quite enough to do since we are still finding time to write 100 things. He does see how writing them can be somewhat of a break from all of the other things going on. We need the rest of the family to write and share their 100 things as well.
Good comment, Susan! Although I am not a member of the Young family, Carol’s list has prompted me to write a list, and now I want my husband and younger son and his wife to write out their lists. I thoroughly enjoyed writing my list and think it will be a good experience for my family, too.
Thank you, Susan. Tell Rick that it doesn’t take long to write 100 Things! Boyd, Cherrye, and I found that once you get started, so many things pop in your head that the list could easily be 1000 things long.
I think a 100 Things list should be a requirement for a first date. The list makes great conversational material, and you could get a really good idea of what’s important to each person.
Cherrye,
I think that your family is going to know each other better after making their lists and sharing them. It was rather surprising to me to see that while I knew about many of the things listed on your and Boyd’s lists, I gained a different perspective from reading them in a list form.
Wouldn’t it be enlightening to have 100 lists written by our ancestors?
I am glad that I read your list. Although much later than everyone else, I enjoyed it very much. I have been doing a lot of self-reflection lately, so I think I might like to do this myself. I loved you before I read your list, but I think I really love you even more now. What a neat person you are.
I am pleased that you enjoyed my list, and your comment really warmed my heart. You are an encouragement to me. Compiling it is rather theraputic, so I think you’ll like composing your own. I look forward to reading yours.
