When I unloaded the kitchen utensils for my first university apartment, I was delighted to find that Mom had given me my very own Tomato Core-It. I was on friendly terms with this nifty tool because it had helped me core thousands of Busy Bee Cafe tomatoes.
Mom gave me another one when I visited her a few weeks ago. Made in the USA, Tomato Core-Its also remove strawberry stems and potato eyes with little waste. It’s available at restaurant supply stores, and Amazon sells them for $3.53.
The producer states on the packaging: “Every kitchen should have one.” I agree.
