Love the buffalo! Thanks for the chicken story – I can see and smell the hog pens in my mind.
The buffalo do roam on the range and pass by my Manchaca house on occasion. A neighbor took these pictures last Sunday.
As for the hog pens, I remember mentally preparing myself for the aroma. Even so, that first whiff was always a shock.
